GOLDEN Color Pouring Medium Matte is a 100% acrylic polymer which can be used to extend acrylic paints for pouring techniques. The medium dries to a smooth matt finish. One of the differences between the Matte pouring medium and the Gloss pouring medium is that matt mixtures can be used immediately.

The medium resists crazing, improves leveling of paint mixtures and is suited to large colour fields.

Experiment by adding as little as 20:1 medium to paint for creating coloured glazes or increase the ratio by up to 3:1 for more opaque layers of colour. Swirl colour mixes together, allow colours to run into each other, add Jacquard Pearl Ex interference and iridescent colours for a satin metallic effect, or drip different colours onto a layer of wet solution.

Store prepared mixtures for future use in properly labeled, airtight High Density Polyethylene plastic containers. Not recommended as a clear layer, topcoat or varnish.
