Clairefontaine Pastelmat paper brings exceptional possibilities to soft pastel artists. The pastel adheres so well to Pastelmat paper, that fixative is not needed between layers. Many Layers can be applied without saturation the tooth.

Pastelmat paper is available in 14 colours. The paper can be used for wet or dry techniques, and may even be used with alcohol. The thickness of the paper is 360g/m.

Pastelmat pads are assortments of up to 4 colours each, available in 3 sizes. Larger sheets of single colour are also available.
